It sounds like it's not a full on movie yet. Rather, a test run for the big thing, a promo for the E3, or a video tie in for the next MK game. Hopefully it becomes a full on movie, cause it looked damn entertaining.
Looks interesting...did anyone catch Chun Li??? All video game movies have sucked so far; you can throw in comic book movies as well. With the exception of "graphic novel" adaptations i.e. Sin City and Kick ***.
Iron Man was good and Iron Man 2 seemed like a segue for Avengers, IM3, Captain America, and Thor.

I actually own the Director's Cut BluRay 
It is an entertaining action flick, but not that faithful to the game...for one the main character in the movie is a bleeping softy and ***** compared to the dude in the game, plus too much of the story line (as always) did not make any sense...
