i don't have a STi

do they have their track map any where on their site? i can't seem to find it. from the time of the fastest lap, i think that track is quite long.

They have some video clips that will give you an idea. Polished concrete slick track. Drifters will love it.

Theres also Le Mans Karting in Fremont. I've never been there before, but I've heard good things about it.

I remember when SpeedRing was still around. They had this all-you-can-drive deal for like $55. My buddy and I took a day off from work and put in about 220 laps each. I think I got shin splints from the vibrations. Good times.

Lemans Karting - 19 sec track, easy reservations, wide track for great head to head action, laid back staff, well maintained, fun.

Go Kart Racer (Burlingame) - 2 tracks (and supertrack), pain in the *** reservations (plan on spending 3 hours easy waiting for your turn), exiting track, hard to pass, well maintained fun.

The only track i have done was GoKartRacer.

I did both, and both equally fun. Triple Tuesday $45 for about 45 minutes of track time.
Monza is technical and has the cool wooden hill (which indoor tracks need more of), Yokohama is top speed high rpms braking at last minute on outside corner, prob 35 mph?

I only waited 5 minutes before we were on track. and 15 minutes in between which was nice.

Staff is super laid back there, i was passing people all over the place, doing some risky moves and bumping too, they wont flag if it looks like you know what youre doing.

LeMans is ok i guess, from what i see when i watch.

i've been to gokart, lemans, and speedring. lemans is great because you don't need to wear their suits. they are laid back people. gokart is great when you do super track. expensive though. i never had to wait that long at gokart, i guess i got lucky. speedring...those people weren't that laid back, but hey, they were the first in the bay area.

so i just watched the video on a non internet explorer computer... damn that track is SLICK! or they put on some hard tires to stick it out more, but i dont think that would be fun with other people...of course it would be, but there are bound to be pile ups every other corner, plus they will kick you out a lap for bumping, but you cant help it it looks like.

It would be a blast with only one person on track like in the video, but it is too slick IMO from what i saw.

Anyone been here yet? I'm too lazy to read the site, does anyone know if they use gas or electric karts?

i dont really like leman. their karts some how feels really uncomfortable. my knee keep hitting the gas tank. after a session of race it will bruce up my leg. and the length of the pedal is not good also. with out the extended pedal is too far, with the extended pedal is too close. im 5'8

i like gokart racer much better. the kart fits me good and much more comfortable IMO
