Finally got an IPOD, Where to DL music?
My girlfriend bought me an IPOD for my Bday, and now I need to find a place to download music and TV shows.
Anybody know of a good site?
I'm not looking for bearshare, limewire, or mp3 rocket PSP search engines.
I want a site that has HIGH quality audio/video converted just for the IPOD.
Basically, I'm looking for a website like iTunes, but has a flat monthly fee.
I've found IpodDownLoadsPro or FeedMyIpods, but are these good sites?
TIA iClub!

i know you know the itunes store.. and that is what i suggest.. i have had great luck with itunes providing good stuff for a decent price.
I am just not willing to spend 10,000 dollars to have 10,000 songs on my ipod.

There are some sites where you can pay a lot less to download MP3's than iTunes. I'm a Mac guy, but I know there's alternatives out there. I just haven't found them myself. LOL.
Too bad Napster is WMA. Otherwise that's a good one. eMusic is iPod friendly, but they cater to independent labels primarily.

u can try mp3fiesta.com 10 cents a song, cheaper overall if u grab the whole album, comes in various mp3 formats (anywhere from 128-320 kbps)
Not sure if it's illegal in the US though. It's a Russian site that replaced allofmp3.com

ever since my CD wallet containing hundreds of CD's was stolen from my car, I refuse to repurchase any media that was stolen.
I just find large .rar files containing .mp3s of **** I already paid for. *torrents*
hope that doesn't help you.

I was really hoping for a site that had a standard encoding for every MP3 (192Kbps).
I hate sorting the files that I download from P2P programs like LimeWire.
Constantly changing the ID3 tags, renaming the filename, etc. I just want a standard.
I'm also looking for Music Videos as well, $1.99 is too much on iTunes. However, the quality is really good, and not some TV card recording from MTV.
I guess I'll try the torrent way and download entire albums. At least I know who ever did the encoding did the entire album the same. I just hate downloading an entire album for just one song.
How is mIRC, there must be some good channels around?
