I would just be asking for pointers. I saw some pics on ****-suck, I think im going with the hella bi-xenon package with an eclass shroud

Here is a thread on Bi-Xenons, talk to "dchou" on there, he is very experience with the Bi-Xenon setup.

i wonder if someone could mount q45 projectors in the high beam area if they would fit that would look cool, even if it was only for looks

Yes it's to big for the high beam, maybe the low beam, but not to sure.

Anyways just took these today (saturday)

i want these on my car soo bad but there is no way i would trust myself doing them... everyone always talks about how great the s2000 projectors are, if they are so great why hasent anyone tries a retrofit with them im interested in this and finding out who will do these for me for a price??? any help would be appreciated.

S2k projectors are still the most expensive, they are also really long which causes problems in a few applications. TSX projectors are almost on par but they are much cheaper and a little shorter. I'll probably use TSX projectors when I do my retrofit, although I did like the E46 hella Bi-xenons I used in my v6 accord. The cutoff wasn't as pretty as a TSX projector, but if someone high beamed me, they got to know what xenon head on felt like

Because S2000 doesn't have any mountings points like the TSX projectors. You will need to make a custom bracket to attach it to the reflector.

picked up my donor headlight housings today

Also, the e46 doesnt have a great cutoff, the TL or porsche b-xenon is much better. Ill likley be using a porsche

i liked the bigger projectors like the e55 and ls430 ones, the e46 ones looked good too, the tsx ones look smaller maybe its just the shroud i want a good cutoff though for sure??? i know nothing, im just here to get info so im not unhappy with the results when i do, do it.

If you want a good cut off, the TSX is the way to go
I think the lS430 with a different lense (A6 ECE) produces a sick cutoff as well

i was recommended to go to hidtech.com from myles @ rce, so i went there and if it can be done im gonna go with the euro spec a6 hella bixenon hid package, i just dont know what shroud i want to go with... i do know i want everything painted black though. any recommendations for shrouds?

I like the e-class shrouds as well, but no point in spending money on them (IMO) if you are just going to paint them black. HIDplanet has some pretty sweet examples of homemade shrouds

However, I wouldnt buy the shrouds from hidtech, they are cheaper on ebay
