still no flash but multi touch on.
So then...you can access the internet and voice at the same time?... Or am I missing something here.

Basically I want to be sure that waiting a month for the Nexus One on Verizon is going to be worth the squeeze.

what happens is that the phone(talking) will override whatever you're doing. once the conversation is over, it'll go back to whatever you were doing.

i hear they're working on a fix for this, so that you can browse and talk.

Is this a problem with Verizon or the CDMA radio frequency?

Thats exactly what I did. Altho, before you pop the card in the phone, on your computer go into the folder that all the apps reside in, delete all the duplicates, there are a $hitload. Then copy the apks to the SD Card & pop it in the phone, run app installer, and get to Droid'ing.

Not exactly. You can hit the home button while talking with someone and open the browser which will show the last page you are on, but cannot browse to a new page while talking.

BUT....

If I have Wifi on and connected. I can browse and talk at the same time. Just tried it right now.

So... Ive noticed when I am connected 3g, make a call, the 3g symbol goes away, and when I browse, it says I am not connected to browse... Maybe I doing something wrong.

the keyboard flips around so that it's facing out and always exposed. what a lousy design to have the keyboard as the "back plate" when the phone is closed.
this whole motoblurr crap completely ruins the concept behind Android. it's like buying a dell with all these preloaded bull**** programs.
I'm intrigued by the Backflip as well, but its a bit underpowered, strange form factor, and I'm not a big fan of MotoBlur.

Here's the proof that Nexus is coming to AT&T. Maybe not anytime soon, but its coming.

Hey Walter, do you know how to control the G1's CPU? Was looking up stuff the other day but was getting too many things mixed up.

Just wondering, did anyone switch from the BB Bold to the Droid?

The design of the Droid is perfect for my needs. I love the keyboard on it. I just can't type on the onscreen/virtual keyboards for crap. I always make mistakes on my iPod Touch.

Yes, why are they so flat? I mean wtf? I know they're tryin' to skim out on width... but uhh. If I wanted a FLAT KEYBOARD, might as well have copied the itouch... no clue...

My blackberry even pulled up fitday.com with the graph better than the droid with Verizon.... And my blackberry I condone as the worst mobile web browser ever made. LoL, Droid is a half assed iphone. Please upgrade...

btw Sony is releasing the 'pull' with technology that will pwn the iphone, or so I heard. Just chill =). Droid = failure.

The X10 or Rachael will most likely be on AT&T's network since it's GSM-based. Verizon needs better phones....still tempted by the Droid though
