fed up with bay area housing prices???

sell a couple parts off your car and you can buy a place in on in the motor city

A boarded-up bungalow on the city's west side brought $1,300. A four-bedroom house near the original Motown recording studio sold for $7,000.

the one thing is try to find a good job in Detroit. and the weather that you have here. I would rather pay a little more for nice weather then having horrible cold and outrageous heat.

A little more?

try about 10,000% more, hell I could buy the boarded up bungalow free and clear and have enough change to put a new set of tires on the car with one friggin mortgage payment!!

And once that market bottoms out, your house will be gaining value while your car depreciates, even if its just sitting in the garage.

Might be time to move to the motor city.....

Naaaaa

yes "bungalow" being a creative real estate euphemism for "Condemned, vandalaized, 1 room ****-hole in the middle of the ghetto."

Yeah, I'm sure, but I don't think you can buy a porta-potty in west Oakland, Hunters point or anywhere else within a thousand miles of here for that much
