Failure to yield ticket? How much am I looking at?
Thought about contesting it but i think the judge would just look at the 10:30pm saturday night on santa clara st. and throw me the fine. I plan on just paying it but would like to know the ballpark range. Anyone thats gotten this ticket chime in!

Well, the cop also mentioned on the ticket that I made a right turn on a red light without stopping. I think he may have fined me as running a red light/stop sign. Your fine will probably be way lower.

you can just go in to court and plead guilty or no contest and the judge will usually lower your fine a bit. i had a carpool ticket that was 900 dollars and went in and plead guilty and they lowered it to 147 dollars. good luck on what you decide to do.

I was driving with my roommate and he got a failure to yield to a fire truck. It was really coincidental. There were cars parked along the 4 lane road and a fire truck coming the opposing direction. My buddy pulls over in front of a small driveway since there was cars parked every where else, but the fire truck wanted to pull into that driveway. looolll So he tries to move forward and the fire truck is blaring its horn. He gets out of the way just in time for a cop to block him in. The cop stated "Tonight my job is to follow emergency vehicles and ticket people that are failing to yield." What are the odds? He's def going to fight it.
