Just watched the movie trailer on hdnet..
Wow.. Looks bad.... I'm feeling little worried with this one.. subaru makes it in And now the price of older wrx's are coming down. I think we are heading to be the next civic..
That sucks.... I just got my car half done..... By the time its done.. I'll have to sell it.. or move out of california.

wasnt there a bugeye in the 2nd one but wans't a main car tho even if the kids try to by them they probably cant afforded to tune them or be fixing them from inexperience, honda parts are alot cheaper

The wrx has been the next civic for a long time.
I for one welcome this, parts will get cheaper and cheaper and like in the Honda world, more open source tuning will make that cheaper too.
The civic is a pretty interesting case - not originally a performance car but so much engineering resources have been pumped into tuning it that today it's a viable and cheap performance car for the enthusiast.
Imagine what all that engineering would do for the WRX beyond what it's already got - let's not forget there was a time when the vf22/30/34 and the PE1818/1820, and a couple rotated mounts from HKS were the only turbo upgrades and the vf30 cost like $1500
