i have stromung and i havent gotten bothered about exhaust. if you dont want to get hassled by the cops then keep ur car stock.

i'd say keep at least a cat and get a dual tip u will be okay.

All depends on how you drive, where you drive, and being able to see cops and deliberately quieting down your car.
I don't drive like a grandma AT ALL and was running no axelback for a while (pretty loud) and was never hassled. I also was rockin just downpipe for about a week with no hassles.

Well, I don't think mine is that loud...I have a Cobb TBE, Helix up pipe, and Gruppe-S headers...I thought it was just as loud as the stromung. I haven't painted it black or anything and haven't gotten hassled by the police yet. (knock on wood) The 05's had the single tip...and in comparison, the stock 05 was bigger. I think it looks somewhat stock for an 05....haha

Little dirty..but here's what it looks like.

and painting muffler cans flat black is a good tip. it's a very old street racing trick to hide mods from other guys....used to do that w/my friends' Hondas & Acuras back in the day. flat black BBQ or hi-temp engine paint works very well.
do u have to sand the muffler?
