alright, here it goes, be honest guys :)

Alright i have gotten an outrageously good price offered on my M3 (E36) and i am going to be selling early summer. I am looking into another Suby or ...an EVO.

here is the deal, i have to finance so will most likely have to go to a dealership.

here is my debate, pay a little more get an 06 STI low miles, seen some 6k mile STI's used, a low mileage 05 STI, or a low mileage EVO 8. But i am diggin the STI's looks over the evo, but that new MIVEC motor seems nice. Although i will not be doing too much modding besides maybe a catback, susp. and some wheels...

be honest guys and let me hear your opinion, of course i am leaning towards a suby...but we'll see

-Rocky

BTW, would like to go new but i think my budget is going to be around 28k max, trying to keep payments around 275 or cheaper so i can still eat

I love subies and all, but I want an EVO.

All around car = STI

Drivers car with some discomfort = EVO

Haha, I want an Evo too...but then again, I've never driven an STi. Both cars are awesome. And If I had more money at the time I would have gotten the STi. I still have to do some research on the Evo.

I'd lean towards the Suby too though.

I have a STi and my brother has an Evo. If I have to buy a new car now, I would still buy an STi. Nicer interior, nicer overall build quality. More torque also makes suby a better car to drive around town. Of course, if you want to build a 500whp monster, then Evo. If you don't plan to mod the car a lot, you should go with suby.

True...if you plan on keeping the car stock, the STi is the way to go

As far as the torque, the EVO9s are putting down nice torque numbers now with this MIVTEC stuff

I cant get over the Evo's looks...IMO the STI is just so much better looking of a car...but to each his own....I am happy with my STI...I picked up my car for 28k (06 w/ 10k) But then again I work at the dealership that it was traded it at!
