04cali go sell some phones. Tomei is the EXACT same bends and style as the gruppe-s just with a 3 bolt flange. SR20 you may like this link since yall love 3 bolt headers, but this header is 3 bolt plus added protection.

Yea sometimes it deeper than the just the outside of the headers. You never know what type of steel they used for construction (just because its 304 SS doesn't mean that all manufactures are the same quality), how the welder welded it (was it cleaned properly, correct filler rod, proper gas coverage, back purged, technique, etc). How was it fitted? If theres unneeded pipe strain it can cause welds to crack.
Theres no real way of knowing these things so you pretty much are putting a hail mary pass up and hoping that the companies reputation for quality will hold up.
