How safe would it be to run meth on my STi Ed? What kind of gains can I expect compared to e85? I see alot of your tunes putting down 340/410 whp/trq with similar mOds.. I'm thinking of doing this since I can't run e85 where I live...

As long as the meth kit stays working, its very safe. Gains are not quite as large as with E85, but I would expect around 320whp/375ft-lbs.

^ you can also have the meth kit inject into each cilinder so that it has evan better spray right?

You can, but that's pretty expensive to set up properly. The main issue is if the meth kit fails in anyway. There are failsafes of course, but it always makes me a bit nervous. That being said, none of our customers have yet to experience a failure from the meth systems.

Well, that confirms it. It's like almost no gain. I guess subaru makes better exhuast now. Too late to return DP. Forget it. I'll just store this DP for now - and get protune once I get catback and intake too. May take awhile.

Anyway, Ed, can you quote me price on clutch install on EVO 9. Not mine. He will be bringing his own clutch kit (oem spec). Thanks

I've been really busy tuning lately. Here are a few of the noteworthy tunes I've done this week:

04 WRX on E85 with:

EQ Custom Tune on E85



It was a bit different tuning a TD04 on E85, but it came out great in the end!

And finally, here is an 07 STI on E85 with the HTA68 turbo. This is a car we built a while back but never got great results from the turbo because the car had a very restrictive catback. The customer swapped out the catback and installed some EL Headers and we put it back on the dyno today for a re-tune. This time the car made great power all around!

We installed the first set of EQ Tuning 1000cc injectors today on a 2011 WRX. They idled and drove flawlessly . These will soon be available for purchase!
