im currently running it. it works well and is actually pretty stealthy. it works well for my setup but if e85 or a turbo larger than a 20g i would suggest somthing better.
ive since changed everything to black silicone. ive been stopped by CHP 2x and it didnt raise one flag. a friend of mine just passed smog with it.

I've wanted a spearco since I seen Chris's STi when he worked at EQ, nice setup! Like the black intake hoses better too, more stealthy looking.

Airbag light?

Ed, you know why my Airbag light pops on? If I start the car it pops on, turn car off and restart and airbag light goes away. Is the Airbag light separate from the ECU? I checked the plugs under the seat and all plugged in. I think it's weard why it pops off after I just turn the key in the off position and turn back on and goes off! Thanks.......

Nation, thank you for review! Yeah, I like stealthy look also. And from what I know COBB is planning to release a black version! Not sure about bigger turbo. I want to stay with a stock one, but have some plans regarding E85. Why do you think that it will not be sufficient on bigger turbo? Did you experience any heat soaking so far (compared to a stock box)? I like the idea of a stock position with a box - no worries about getting it wet (like CAI in a fender) and should not heat soak from the engine like "regular" short ram. Just wanted to check which intake is better: COBB SF vs AEM CAI - those are the two I'm considering.

You'll need around a 1300cc injector, definitely nothing smaller!

ED,im open to suggestions. i know the ewg helps with boost control. my only other option is having the dump routed back in.
can you think off the top of your head that would not creep.
Most creep can be fixed with a bit of wastegate porting. EWG is still better in terms of overall boost control, however. We could plumb it back into the DP if you're tired of the noise.

Ed, I remember you saying that you had an FP Green in your STi, did you have any issues with it being IWG?
I didn't have any boost creep issues with that turbo, but I also never ran it with a really free flowing intake. That tends to contribute to creep issues.

Its a decent design and does help with the heat soak issue. True CAI's still do better, however.

Thanks
