It's pretty normal to see about 25whp and 30ft-lbs from a custom tune. The stock tune runs very rich. These results are at about 16.5psi peak boost.

Tuning is huge on turbo motors. If not for power gains, for improved drivability.

Ed, The car does scream. Nice tune. a few of my friends were shook when i took them for rides. Still waitin for a race though to give her some exercise. The cold start is still a little up and down but idles perfect when she warms.

curious, what about a stock 2011 wrx? what are your going rates?

Similar results on the new WRX's. They actually tend to make about the same power as STI's now. Most tunes are $400. Please give us a call if you have any questions.

Hi Ed, great to meet you and the whole crew yesterday. Haven't had a chance yet to see what my car can do now, but it feels great! Please post my graph to show a dyno tune on an 09.

Thanks Paul. I'm very happy to hear that you're enjoying the tune. Your car came out really nice for the minimal mods. Here is your dyno chart:



FYI, this is an 09 WRX with just a downpipe, walbro, MBC, and custom tune.

Hey Ed, I'm creeping up to 15k on the motor.. It has been a joy, im still loving it. I read a post either in this thread or another of yours about another customer coming in for a 15k service for their built motor, just wondering what that consists of... I cant stress enough how many compliments i have gotten for the power and smoothness of my built motor from EQ!!! you guys are a one of a kind performance shop. Thanks!
