Here's an interesting comparison on the same car. 06 STI with Cobb Catted TBE, Tomei EL Header + UP, Cobb SF Intake, Perrin Inlet, DW850cc Injectors, Walbro, MBC.
The Blue curve is the above setup with the stock VF39.
The Orange curve is the TEC TD06-20G 7cm + larger TMIC on the same car and setup.
The turbo performed very nicely overall, but I will note that we had to port the wastegate to control boost creep. Without porting we were hitting 22psi+ with no boost control.
Thanks

BTW, We'll be going down to Subaru Summer Solstice on June 24th. We'll have a vendor booth, so if you can, come out and check out this huge annual event

just wanted to let you guys know that even with ed doing a 25psi tune for me,the car handled a 400 mile trip without one hickup. from vacaville to idaho. averaged 26mpg and raped a couple cars along the way.
now i only hope at some point its worth EQ buying the tuning software for a bmw thats using a cobb AP.

good to know. i figure ill run around on a stage 1 map, source the parts cobb requires for a stag2 map, then have you do your magic. ill come by tommorow and set up a time for some base line runs before any mods get installed. should make for a interesting build.
