Engine dies after warm startup

Hey guys I've had this problem for about two weeks now. When I start my car cold, it starts up fine and idles fine. But when the engine is warm/hot and I go to start it up, it starts fine, but it doesn't hold idle and dies. I have to try it again and give it a little gas to stay running. The funny thing is, this never happened until my ecu got reset when my battery died. Also, I recently switched out my fully catless exhaust back to stock prior to my battery dying. I changed my spark plugs today too and cleaned my MAF sensor to eliminate a CEL I had come on two days ago. Anyone have any idea what this may be, or have had a similar problem? I've read that it could be a vacuum leak, others say it could be a bad PCV valve, and some told me I just need a tune. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I would assume its a idle relearn issue you are having although with subies that I have worked on, it never really did that or you really messed up the the maf by cleaning it instead of replacing it.

Do you have any tune on the car? It might be the idle control valve.

Go to your shop of choice and have them properly diagnose the problem.
You will save money and more importantly, time, in the long run.

This is the worst advice I've ever heard. It is much smarter to ask an internet forum and try everything you can think of BEFORE going to a shop. It isn't like you'll do more harm than good by wasting your time and money trying to get the interwebs to fix your problem. After all, there HAS to be SOMEONE who has a sister that has a friend that once knew a guy that might have had the same problem.

Am I right?

P.S. For those of you that don't know... Paul is right. GET A REAL DIAGNOSIS!!!!

I'll keep reading up on this and will most likely end up taking it to a shop for a diagnosis. Thanks for your help guys
