These threads are pretty funny to be honest, not sure why people seem to think they have to jump in time and time again and beat this horse as it's already dead - you don't like road tuning then don't have your car road tuned it's as simple as that.
Playing devils advocate on the whole thing regarding safety I would have to say that every single one of us if driving on said road tuning road wherever it may be would probably be driving down the road/lane and be flat out as after all for the most part we're all car nuts and like to have fast cars and drive them fast I know for a fact that when presented with open road I have a tendancy to flog the crap out of whatever I am driving but perhaps I am the only one??.
I didn't understand the reference to nitrogen above? We use nothing but that in our race car and have only managed to float once but that was induced by nailing a berm on track at over 100mph and I don't think lead filled tires would have prevented that situation. I would take nitrogen over regular air any day in my tires I just don't have reason to do so in anything I currently street drive.

Sorry I am a little lost today, probably the long week I have had or something but the only things that have made sense is the OP post and then the usual bandwagon road tuning stuff I commented about already I have not forgotten any of that if that is what your referring to?

Dude, I don't usually call people out on their BS, but this is a VERY stupid idea in every aspect... From the idea where you came up with this, to the thread you made on a public forum about the said idea, to the part where you're going to actually do this.
Do you have any idea what will happen if you crash your car or hit someone else while doing this? I can guarantee that someone will send this thread over to the fairfield PD and report you, and if they do, your *** will get nailed to the cross.
I know you're too cheap to rent some dyno time for your car, and thats a shame... Not only is it safer, but you're going to get more accurate results from a professional tuner such as Mike from GST...
Ug, I could go on and on about this but I'll spare you the lecture. Do what you will, but keep your ill doings OFF of this forum. We don't need people like you giving us a bad reputation... like all those idiots that crash during our Mt Hamilton meets... EVERY year someone goes flying off the damn mountain, and guess where the cops go to when that happens? To us, the responsible subie owners... all it does is give us a strike against our reputation. I don't want people thinking that I'm the same as you! So if you're going to do this kind of crap, please go join a honda forum and go suck each other off while road tuning.
Sorry if that was poorly written, mobile keyboards + large hands = fail

Oh, and another thing! Your screen name... What on gods earth were you thinking?
You do realize that "Boi" means Transexual, right? Thats what they call themselves... Even if that wasn't the meaning, spelling "boy" as "Boi" is the gayest thing ever... You can only pass it off if you're in 7th or 8th grade, but anything after than and you're instantly gay.
If you're wondering about how I know the Transsexual thing, Mike at GST was actually born a woman and he "filled me in" on the terminology.
Im not singling you out with your SN, I tell everyone who has "boy" replaced with "Boi".

I have to confess I have no idea how Nitrogen could cause a crash though unless each tire was like 100psi or so and caused tire failure which would also be the case with regular air. If there is something I am missing about Nitrogen I would like to hear it as we have been using it on our race cars for years.

I must have missed that one or it was long enough ago that I simply don't recall it (anything past last week would fall into that category nowadays).

I have received my fair...and sometimes unfair...number of "performance awards" for various things in my 20+ yrs of driving.
And like you, I presume, I've done some pretty ****ing stupid things behind the wheel.
Simply passing on my perspectives so people can make a well informed decison.

Anyone care to mention the 505?
I remember seeing a Toyota MR2 doing in excess of 110 for an extended period of time...
...then I saw a large cloud of dust in the center divider right behind me.
No, it was the CHP turning around to catch the speeder, as I was simply <innocently> doing ~70'ish passing a car.
Saw him talking to the officer about three miles later.
