^Got mine there, you can overnight it and have it in your hands pretty quickly.

A good selection of designs and decent pricing.

no more internet bull****.

I ordered this one from a site. They said 3-5 days. Then after we ordered they said WEEKS....we said we can't wait that long. they said fine we have the ring here but it's in a different kind of ti. we can get it to you by tuesday..think it was like 10 days or 14 or something. We said fine. Then they said...oh we're having issues it'll be friday and cost you 10 bucks more for shipping. We paid it. We got it TODAY. And it's the wrong ring.

no more. I need to walk into a place. Find a ring I like. buy it and walk out.

why is it that we have to go through all this **** to buy our woman their ring but when it comes to ours they don't want to do ****...we have to do it again. Bunch of bull****.

Ray,

I know what you mean. that's why I went to see my buddy John at the Gift Center. I hand picked a GIA certified diamon, picked the setting, then watched and filmed as they polish, mount, polish the ring. Yes, they let me stand right next to the guys as they work on the ring. They had one guy just to make the ring, one just polish, and one just mount the diamon.

I got the diamon on Monday, took it with me, came back on Wednesday and walked out with the ring in hand. Hopefully after we tell him your story and he can help you to speed things up. Good thing is they do it right there, no shipping around, which I am sure you hate at this point.

John is out today and will be back in tomorrow morning around 10am. I'll give him a call tomorrow morning.

my fiance' is flipping her lid on me right now. She wants to go to the mall and see if they have anything.

my ring should be a quick deal.

I'm a size 10 and I don't want anything gnarly. Just a simple 6-7mm band possibly with an inlay. That's it. No diamonds. No crazy ****. Simple. Durable.

Ray,
Got some bad news for you, sorry... I just got word from my friend at the Gift Center. They don't do Titanium in-house!! So it would take much longer than you like. However, if you want, you can still roll by to see what they have. Also they have BUNCH of other jewelers there as well. Once you are in, you can sneak around to other stores.

most places don't. I'm pretty much limited to what's on hand.

or seeing if I can get a plat. band for a reasonable price. All I want is simple satin finished platinum. 6mm-7mm. Simple. Or a ti band.

this is just a suggestion and is what I would do in this situation.

Buy temporary bands, less than $100 each for the ceremony. Then order the rings you WANT.

^ you mean without the wifey knowing...then replace the similar (tin aluminum foil...) one a few weeks later with an identical one (titanium)

but it kinda sucks that the actual ring wasnt there at the time kinda thing.

maybe you should think about the future, like if you get her a baller ring now, how are you gonna top it like when she wants a 10 year ring or whatever... i dont know. The most expensive ring ive ever bought was $350........and 74 cents...:/ Hope everything works out for you...in the meantime i typed this:

The Shane Company...in Cupertino, San Mateo (Novato R.I.P.) and Walnut Creek...open weekdays til 8 weekends til 5...online at Shannnnnne cooooo. dot commmm. (gotta practice to impress friends while driving in the car)

and now they dont say "Novato" so F i gotta another year before that line is F'ing flawless! lol

Marriage is about honesty. If a girl has a fit about something out of your hands, she isn't worth it.

Again, is she worth it? I bought my fiance a big *** ring and told her that she can buy herself a bigger one in 10 years(shaneco has a great trade-in offer), unless I am a millionaire by then.

I grew up listening to that on KGO. I can still hear that bastards voice in my head when I think about it!

The ring is for me.

We have my fiance's ring. It's a nice platinum ring. Nice enough anyways. Need to get another appraisal now that we have the band as well. Should be like $6000. She's sentimental and she really isn't a jewelry girl. Besides that she has small hands. I don't see her ever "upgrading" Maybe add another band. But who knows, my mom has gone through a couple.
