Electronic problems

The car: 2004 wrx
The problem: ABS and Air Bag light

ABS: this lights been on ever since i changed my brakes and maybe i messed something up during the install. whatever, not really trippin...

Air Bag light: been coming and going for the last few months and now its on all the time. now im trippin...

tried re-setting the ECU with no luck. any recommendations before i bring it to the dealership?

your brake fluid is probably just low, try adding brake fluid and see if it helps, I'll be surprised if that is not the issue. you probably just bled your brakes too much while changing your pads.

brake fluid low would cause the brake light to come on, not the abs light, i suggest check
the wheel speed sensors since u did brakes on it, could be just dirty. as for air bag light there should be a connector under the dash u can use to flash the code out.

yea i seen the thread. i was homeless for a while and i was too busy trying to find a place to live. whens the next time you guys are getting together?

Like others have said for the brakes, fill up your fluid.

No idea what the ABS light would be all about unless something got snagged and isn't plugged in correctly. Did you do anything to your seats? Steering wheel? ANything you can remember?
