East Bay Custom Car Audo Shops?
Hey everyone,
New '08 OBS owner looking to improve the stock stereo. The sub under the seat really is not doing it for me. I'm thinking about adding the following:
- new component speakers for the front
- amp for the front speakers
-one of those custom subwoofer boxes that fit inside the spare tire well
- amp for the subwoofer.
Does any one have a recommendation for reputable shop in the East Bay? If you have pictures of their work or want to showcase what you did for your ride, feel free to post up some pix.
Cheers!

Ya the Circuit City off hwy 4 in Pitt. I did my system there i they do a custom, quality job there with good prices and selection. Theres also a shop you can go to in concord or Pitt. If you want numbers or directions to the shops just hit me up.

it really depends on the store.
concord cc kinda sucks right now because no managers and everyone is busy working on their(our) own cars during work
but on serious side, just about a year ago, concord cc had a great, experience at competition level installers(we were the self-claimed best shop in the area) and now we just got decent guys with only 2 guys with custom experience and only 1 of them is willing to do custom things to customers because CC gets paid, not the installer.
I'd recommend Circuit City Concord, plus, if something happens to your car, CC will pay to fix it, unlike other indepedent stereo shops and life time warrenty on the installation.
sorry, i dont do side jobs unless its something simple but if you're willing to spend the extra cash i can recommend you to my good buddy thats experienced in competition and car show custom jobs.
other then that, there is (in concord area).
there are the ones i know of
Custom Car Alarms - One of most popular
Shayan Stereo - Good
Walnut Creek Customs - New shop
Best Guys - Havnt heard much of them
GM Electronics - DO NOT GO HERE, ITS ALL BAD.
