Earthquakes
So who was feeling those yesterday? I was woken up by the first one just before 7 am...no big deal, I am from California after all.
Then all the little ones during the day...but this damn apt complex is rickety enough that when big trucks cruise down the freeway it shakes...
But then the last bigger one at 8ish was a bit scary! I mean I had earthquakes on the mind, it hit and I was starting to get concerned...
I was actually more worried than in '89.
Anyone else feel 'em?

yikes!
I haven't felt them here in Berkeley, but it looks as though a fault near San Ramon is going off, some 23 incidents between 2.0 and 3.9 since Saturday morning:

whole lotta shakin'
I live in Dublin, so we felt them pretty clear. The AM one woke us up out of the bed, and the PM was just as intense. PLus these weren't the usual rollers; they were this big jolts/shoves. Got our attention in a hurry!
In all, we felt 4 or 5 over the course of yesterday. Have never gone through that many shakers in 24 hours. I heard there was another in San Ramon this morning.

now, why can't the hayward fault do that!?!?
nope, it has to sit there, like a cork about to pop and let out nearly 130 years of pressure
