There are also very few shops in the area that can or will even touch EcuTek so you are limited there. From here on out you have very few options for how to move forward with the car. You either have Visconti tune it or switch to a different platform.

I didn't get that impression (bad tuning) based on all the results and other cars he has tuned. Yeah I saw the BRZ fire thing in the link above, bummer for all parties involved. He's been nice to me and helped me out late at night when I had questions.

I have a CVT so EcuTek is the only choice for these cars at the moment. Like I said before, I am not doing any more modifications besides the J-pipe so I don't think tuning is really an issue. The Flex Fuel kit and the tune that came with it is working excellent. Data logs show no timing being pulled or any knock, throttle response is improved, gas mileage is retained with additional performance.... dunno how any of that can be bad. Thanks for looking out.

E-85 in Sacramento varies today between $2 to $2.39 per gallon. You folks in the Bay area are getting ripped!

Lightbulb South Bay List

I was trying to figure out of there's some sort of list maintained here, rather than the million different fuel websites out there. Many of them have partial listings or out of date listings. None of them matched up 100%.

Best I could tell there wasn't a reliable list anywhere. Tried to limit it to my own roaming requirements in the south bay. This meant the Palo Alto <-> Morgan Hill <-> Milpitas triangle.

As far as I can tell, this is all I came up with from here, gasbuddy, ethanolretailer, propelfuels and e85prices:
Chevron - Capitol Automall (Propel)
735 W Capitol Expressway
San Jose, CA 95136

Valero Montague Gas Station/Car Wash
1298 Montague Expressway
San Jose, CA

CLAIR Chevron - Commercial (Pearson)
680 Commercial St
San Jose, CA 95112

Propel Fuels - 1st St (76?)
1002 N 1st St
San Jose, CA 95112

Chevron - Montague (Propel)
790 W Montague Expressway
San Jose, CA 95131
Did I miss any? Any of them fall off the face of the earth? Let me know!

The Chevron on Commercial is Pearson E85, not Propel

Propel has an app that shows you real time prices at all their stations

Updated. Their site is pretty good. Haven't checked out their app. I was kind of hoping there were a few more other non-Propel stations out there that I had missed.

Joining the e85 club tomorrow! Just downloaded the propel app for ip6. But to be sure, the propel dispensers can be located at any brand gas station? Everyone tells me to stick with propel for consistency and performance. Also, how do I know if it's summer blend or winter blend??

well, all three propel pumps i've gotten from very recently (whipple rd in rwc, 1st st & capitol expwy in sj) have all been 80%... don't think it will get much better than that so the blend is good. havent used any other brand so i cant tell you what the content is.

Do you guys think Pearson is a lesser quality than propel?

I haven't tested but I am getting some weird knock from Pearson
