from what I understand it should be around or under $4gal for e98, and you could mix it down if you wanted. Its a lot easier then mixing out gas and guessing the oct since all youll really need is a bottle with lines on it. But yeah I agree, it would be nice to just have e85 at the pump here.. As is now I am still filling up my drums about once a month or so and pumping out of my garage. Cant stand running 91, and not just cause the power loss, but drivability as well. On the freeway I only get about 1-2mpg less so it doesnt cost anymore either.

Yeah, I will switch to E85 from the same station you use, once I get money for the hardware next year. (Although I haven't figured out how I'll transport the amount of E85 that I want, other than possibly borrowing my buddies nissan truck, or his 4Runner). I'll probably end up with Bosh 1000cc's, Bosch in-tank pump, and Aeromotive top feed rails with a FPR. Hopefully enough to handle the demand from my GT30 setup. I'll be interested to find out what my fuel mileage will end up being versus the current PE 850's with 104oct. Obviously it'll still be tune A vs. tune B, but it will still hold some value to compare the mpg.

You should have no problems as long as you up the fuel pressure on those bosch 1000's. FYI I run a rotated gt3076 with a walbro, rc 1200's at stock fp so they flow more like 1100cc, and stock 07 sti fuel rails. No problems and Mike did a great job as always on the tune. Nice bump in power over 100octane and a big bump over 91 lol

My gas mileage is fine as long as Im not on it.. When I do beat on the car I notice a huge difference, but for daily driving I only get about 20miles to the tank less.

Sean is reporting gas mileage around 20-22mpg on the highway and about 10-15mpg in stop and go. The highway mileage surprised me because that's about all I get on gasoline on my car.

i say 360whp? 440wtq?

I'd seriously daily drive on that stuff if it was available since we don't get real premium. Sure it's a bit more expensive, but not that much. But there would need to be a station in a 5 mile radius of either home or work.
if you go to EvoEmpire.org theres a list,

get on E85 is so worth it, i love the smell also

hell yea man, tell Adam and hurry up with the Injectors so you can be corn fed sooner,

thanks man,

the external gate is just simple bolt on, i mainly want it cuz i love the sound, you can call my set up a "poor mans big turbo set up"

as for the fuel rail its just i wanted to added for better peice of mind, it gives even delivery on all 4 cylinder, its also very fancy looking, and i got a really good price on it, but its not nessarry mod

btw still need the washer? i lost your number

nope, but they are sexy and keeps the fuel delivery even on all 4 cylinder

However, the stock rails are a series system, so there will be some variation in the amounts of fuel to the various cylinders. You either have to tune per cylinder (which is only possible on the 32 bit ECUs and really nobody does that because it's a total nightmare) or you have to tune for whatever the worst cylinder is.

Parallel rails will help reduce the fueling differences between cylinders and so will net you a small amount of extra horsepower due to them all being more even.
+1

thanks man,

ED are you reading this? you should start selling a e85 coversion kit haha

I read this thread last night before falling asleep and dreamed that I had to drive to Nevada on a single tank of E85 since there were no other stations anywhere near by, in the said dream I got stuck in the mountains thanks to the lack of gas and woke up after hearing the dual of banjos!

True story

That's what your AccessPort is for .
Switch over to a 91 map and fill up wherever.

What kind of power does this car make with those 850 injectors on 91?
