Drool-worthy Subarus in Scotland

I've been over here in Scotland for the last few weeks, enjoying (among other things) looking at all the sweet rides that you don't see in the states...

I got offered a ride in this beast

Unfortunately, I couldn't make time to meet up with the owner... my loss.

I'll have some more pictures to add once I'm back stateside.

Lovin' it,
M

Each to his own, I guess...

I don't know, though... a 2-door race-ready STi would be alright with me.

I personally wanted the 2 door WRX. Before I got my wagon, I was really hoping for a 2 door, turbo 2.0L, blaze yellow.
that dream was shattered at the dealership, and I left with a 2004 WRX wagon.
Since upgrades for the 2.0L turbo setup is limited if you don't want to add low/mid end lag, I am upgrading just the short block to 2.5L and maybe get some jun cames or something.
Then look at turbos, maybe a TD05.

Anyways, nice pic Mike. Hope to see you soon on monday nights.
