choku dori down the isles. almost flipped the cart once because of grip all of a sudden. i love it when it's waxed so good that you can hold a drift from one isle and then all the way down the next.

Is it illegal to drift while there's a 7 year old in the cart though?

I do too. I never see anyone else doing it. We should take over a store sometime, grab all the carts, and drift around the store.

OMG! that would be freaking hilarious! I could just see the store clerks staring at all of us with a confused look on their faces, not really sure whats going on, and what to do about it...... :rotfl:

Yes, I do it too....I haven't ever seen anyone else doing it, but I was sure that I wasn't the only one....its just too much fun.

Something else I like to do, is when I have a full cart.....you get a good (semi)running start and shift all your weight onto the cart handle, but keep your feet just barely, barely touching the ground so it looks like you are still standing, and as you are moving, it looks like you are gliding down the isle because your feet arent moving but you are cruisin' along at a pretty good clip. This works especially well, while going along the ends of the isles, so when people in the isle look as you go by, they just see you "floating" across the floor pushing a cart, and they get this confused look on their faces, and then you are gone, so they arent really sure what they just saw.

lol. u know what i do? i will get some speed on the cart and lift myself up just a little bit. i will move my legs slowly like i am walking but actually i am moving at alot faster pace than what i should. So it looks like i am from one of those chinese martial art movie. Covering alot of areas with barely any movements.
And since i am chinese, they give me a even weirder look. Probably think i am really flying.

/\ LOL, yea, thats basically the same idea, with a little more movement.

edit: why dont we have a  "smiley"? I mean, we already have one for the message icons.....but it should be a smiley we can use in within the content of a post as well.

When I was little, I was 'riding' a shopping cart and I ended up between two parked cars. My grandpa was pissed because I scratched both cars.
