Downtown SF supercar dealer has the Elise!!!
I was in the city today and as I drove by my favorite car dealership in all of history, they had the new Lotus Elise in silver no less, parked next to their "supercars".
Namely, the V8 Esprit in silver, the Maserati convertible, and 360 Modena.
Off to the other side of the showroom was their TWO (2) Murcielagos and 2 Bentleys.
So if ya want one of those Elises, you may wanna drop by and make an appointment to see if you can get on the waiting list (likely)!

I sat in the Elise the other day at British Motors, it's quite a car and having a reliable Toyota motor makes it even better. It weighs around 2000 lbs, has 190hp @7800, and will be available "around $40000" in hardtop, t-top and ragtop models. Opening the door you notice the interior door sill is VERY HIGH you have to wedge your butt inside then bring each leg in individually. The racing seats inside are half an inch thick and have an air bladder inside...there is a Reebok pump type bladder on the left side to pump up the seats to your liking. Everything is very small including a tiny shift **** which I shifted hehe and the engine is right behind your head. DIdn't get to turn it on but i'm going to get a test drive soon as they come out next year. So sweet......
