Door Dings
Well got another ****ing door ding thanks to dip**** 85 civic that parks next to me and is a careless ****bag.
My question is what size dings and the paintless dent removal guys take care of? If it is really small can they remove it still or does the sheetmetal need to be dented to a certain extent to be effective.
Thank,
Knight

You should drop a line to Stupiddents. He is located in San Jose. Let me get you his web addy.

Ask him. I know that some things he can do, and others he would prefer not to do.

that sucks...if your always parking next to someone...especially an 85 civic...or any civic for that matter, you should rig up a foam strip to hang off the side of your car

Wow that Door Defender looks pretty cool but how do people react? DO people look at you like you're an OCD idiot when you put it on... etc... I am seriously considering getting one. :character00123:
Door dings suck... i want to run a :armee_smilies108: into the perpetrators' cars... :yo:

yes.... i get weird LOL look when i put them on.... a lot of people ask what is it etc....
i have this about 1yr+ pretty durable...
the only down side is when you take them off. you have to be careful because of debris that embed between the cracks, that might scratch your paint (found out the hard way -_- )

I can see the Door Defender's magnet picking up metal bits from whereever and scratch the paint. Good idea though.
Yrs ago I have seen blow-up door defender type product being used in Asia but also notice it flopping around a bit in th wind as well. Not good either.
For door ding remover, have you guys tried Alex Ruben? He is a very patient guy. Couple of yrs ago he did couple of group buys for i-club but he is not as active in advertising his work b/c that's isn't his day job. He does very good work. Alex would work on the ding and continue to work on it until he is satisfied (even when af I didnt even notice the dents anymore).
His price is way below some of those I have seen on this forum. He charges so little b/c it isn't his day job. If several dings which he spends 45min, an hr can net him $50 or so, then that's good side money for him, vs those guys doing it for a living, they have to charge more. Let me know if you need his #.
