Door Card Material
Hey I-clubbers, so recently I've been contemplating replacing the material on my door cards (the TR's stock ones are atrocious, especially if rained on).
I think I've got the method down for removing them, but with what to replace the cloth with I'm not yet sure. I figured suede would be nice, but would cost me an arm and a leg- at least to a DIY'er. Leather would be too much as well.
If you guys got any ideas or suggestions as to what to replace them with, do tell. If anything I could help you do yours after I finish mine.

So where did you get the micro suede? I was gonna check out jo annes fabrics for it, but they usually jack up the price on those kinds of things.

i recently did my A pillars in oem bmw alcantara because my friend had some extra awhile doing his m3. $100/yard o.O
i dont have a picture of my a pillars but thats the same material i used for my car.

pimping out my interior right now. Used fabric from SYFABRICS.com guy off sti board used them. Microsuede 9$/yard. Then go buy orange can of interior upholstery adhesive from AUTOZONE woot. Then you are good to go,
Is that alcantara grey and black or just black. Yeah Alcantara I just couldn't do. 100/yard vs. 9 and its almost the same.
You have nice friends to give up that stuff.
Only thing i'm bummed about is doing the wheel is near impossible. You need to stitch it etc..

yeah this guy on the sti board went with this.......I had a tough time picking it over the 3m but it works perfect. I finished my cigg lighter door................**** it took me like 3 hours for that tiny piece.

Lol, yeah Jin that is some uber ballin material.
Quick question: does the spray hold down the stretched material on contact? or does it take a while to cure, because I'd imagine you'd leave some weights or clamps on the door card while it dries.
