no probs. we say "please don't shes working" to remind ourselves as much as tell the dog that she shouldn't get used to it.

I think it's a little weird that we donate all the extra money to animals but won't have the event happen at an animal friendly place.

no event is perfect... I've been going to these since 2002 and I can honestly say this years event was near perfect... dog friendly park or NOT!

It is very animal friendly, just not to pets.

I'm all about donating to save animals... just keep them away from me. Don't wanna have to start popping pseudoephedrine at BAM just to keep my allergies at bay -.-

May I suggest for BAM11 a place that is dog friendly be sought out.
As you know, I'm a huge dog person and it bugs me that they don't allow dogs also... Actually, it irks me quite a bit. We have quite a few dogs and would love to bring them. Next year, if there is one, we wont do it at Stafford Lake. Stafford Lake is great in terms of everything else, great parking lot, great picnic area, electricity, BBQ pits, covered picnic tables, and the rangers are REALLY great... The park is just all around great in every aspect, minus a couple:

1. No dogs allowed (sucks)

2. It's 2 f'ing hours from my house in San Jose

I want to find a place more central to everyone... The reason we chose Stafford Lake is because we all voted on it, and well, Stafford Lake won by a landslide. I'm just doing what the people want. I was sad that I didn't get to see you at the event, overbear.

Another thing to consider:
dog friendly venues are great until you step in dog ****. no matter how hard you try on grass you never get it all... now times that by every BAIC/SRIC dog owner that would come to BAM and that's allot of smelly ****stains on the carshow grass.

i think if we found a venue with an offleash dog area in it that would be ideal. tthe dogs can go cause a ruckus, get tired, and **** all over the place then be nice and calm/tired when they are interacting with iClubbers that showed up for a car meet, not a dog show.
