46 posts and not yet has one person mentioned keeping a shotgun with rock salt in the car?

Jeez! I know that's what the old codgers used to shoot at us when we didn't have much else to do but explore the woods which just happened to be private property...A group of boys definitely remembers the patch of land guarded by an old farmer armed with rock salt.

Seriously, I'm glad you got it stopped. The lady shouldn't have given you attitude, but no doubt she was scared. Hopefully the speeding car will serve a similar purpose as rock salt.

Still waiting for the cork screw pics!

So was your gate closed at the time you raced up the road and almost hit them? That would make a big difference. Also, since you did give easement to your neighbors, that does put a pickle in things. As far as my understanding (in other less communistic states, anyways), if the property is truly private (your property, no easements, etc.) and your fenced and the gate is closed (this makes all the difference), plus "no tresspassing" signs posted, it is clearly their fault if they are wandering on your property and they get hit. But if the gate was open, whether you have tresspassing signs or not, you are most likely in the wrong.

since it is private property you can hang your shotgun in the back window.... wait... you don't have a truck. should have kindly showed them the property lines.....

I'll see what I can do to take some pictures when its not raining like hell. As for everyone who wants to drive it, sadly the road is not mine to open to the public. Now if my parents happen to be out of town some weekend and a rally uh... accidentally happens, thats another story
