By the legal definition of speeding, yes, I do speed from time to time on public roads. Interestingly enough, however, one of the most popular roads in the North Bay for motorcycles and sports cars has a speed limit between 30-35, and I've seen motorcycles and cars on that road at least doubling the speed limit.

everyone here has gone over the speed limit. if theres any "no" votes, they're lying. poll should be more like "do you speed often? yes or no"

BTW, we're doing a full moon moonlight drive around Clearlake tomorrow. Interesting that you're going around Berryessa.

i actually like to stay at the speed limit. but getting to that posted limit i might try to reach it as fast as i can haha. people drive crazy fast these days. me and my friends usually are pretty conservative and doing maybe 5-10 above the posted limit and EVERYONE stays passing us.

Everyday, I put my car through it's paces.

Since owning it, i don't a day has gone by where if I'm driving that car, I pretty much red line shift 1st/2nd multiple times a day, probably like 20-30 times a day, sometimes 3rd when getting on the free way (I only make 132whp).

I pass cars on multi-lane on ramps, I take cloverleafs with some effort, and always, always find certain sections of road for some specific suspension tuning value.

I do NOT do the following: Multi-lane changes, lane changes without signaling, cut people off, race people at stop lights, run canyon rd on sunday afternoons when Lance Armstrong's **** jockeys are out in the hundreds, "run" someone on the freeway...

i usually drive a little more "spiritedly" in areas where there is little-to-no chance of anyone else being around or where there is high visibility. like freeway on-ramps or mountain roads. and even then, i'm practically going the speed limit, just getting there at an unusually high rate or trying to maintain it through turns.

btw, you know those yellow turn signs with the speed on em? anyone know if those are the legal speed at which you're supposed to go through the turn? or are they more like a guide? i don't even remember ever learning about them in driving school, but i feel like they wouldn't post the number if it weren't the legal speed? but then again the speeds are so damn slow it's just ridiculous to believe it's the legal speed limit?
