not really that cool. if you want maximum visibility during foggy weather, yellow foglights would be better.

04-05 is H3 for fogs.

Personally I'd go with an HID low beam and get some amber H3 bulbs to throw in the fogs. You'll find with HID in the low beams, you won't even bother to use the fogs unless you really need them because the low beams are blinding the crap out of you in a nice thick fog, then a nice yellow fog lamp is great(a red rear fog lamps would be nice on USDM cars, too bad us dumb yankees don't follow E-Code, they take lighting seriously, unlike the **** poor DOT standards).

I have a 6000K rebased ultinons with LVQ-212 ballasts in the low beams, and 85w Narva Rally Gold h3 in the fogs, I've also done the foglamp mod so my fogs turn on with the marker lamps instead of only coming on with the low beams, and of course I had the DRL module yanked about 3 days after I bought the car.

Also the only amber REAL HID bulbs are coated and are complete crap, if the bulb is anything other than clear you are losing light and the color will fade.

hey. i uno man... HID fogs for 04s would seem week. I like my little lights, but it doesn't really float my boat. It would be cooler on an 02 and 03.. i uno, just the feeling of it.

My buddy's bimmer has HID everything. It's actually not really practical. He blows stuff all the time. Not to mention he ran out of mounting places. haha.

I have Rallye 4000 HIDs on my truck and they are NASTY, easily lights up a half mile lol. One of my buddies has the 4000 pencil beams on his jeep and those things are just wrong.
