Do Recirc BOVs???

Do Recirculating Aftermarket Blow Off Valves make noise????

I just ordered a Perrin Recirculating Signature Series. I read the description wrong it says that the Vent to Atmosphere one makes loud noises. Is the Recirculating just not as loud?? If it makes a small amount of noise thats fine with me.

Thanks

Here is a quote from the site:
"The internal design allows the user to change the volume of recirculated air, spring tension and sound."

"Sound", So does it make Noise???

You do know the purpose of the blow off valve isn't to make obnoxious ricer noises. . . . right??

with the obnoxious ricer noise you loose power also and waste more gas and have a possibilty to have rough idle.

So buying the recirculating one gives me power? keeps it the same? It just makes it so I can adjust pressure and help save the turbo?

Ok, DONT get a BOV unless your planning to swap to a bigger turbo and get a protune, cause the stock BoV can hold up to ~22PSi I believe and doesnt **** up the ECU.

atmospeheric BoV's can screw with your MAF and ECU by letting out to much air and make your car run lean, so try and stay away from them unless you have a setup running 20+ PSi.

Ok thank you. I will just return it. I had one on my RX-7, I just miss it. My car runs rich, according to the dyno chart. but I rather it run rich than lean.
