i is not married. just tired of the suspense of what is really going on here. I hope that the guy gets his stuff straightened out. Why couldnt you just post about the real reason to begin with.

No I don't but I guess I have to sign another release to the "new" owner...Legally I relased the vehicle back in Dec 06 to Platinum...Since I am the last registered owner, I have to sign a release to the new owner......If that makes any sense, because it does not even to me!!!..but hey I want to get this done asap

did you trade the car in? If so, you are no longer responsible for it.

Didn't want to scare the guy off...But it seems like it was the oppsite...sorry for the long suspense guys

Ya i traded it in.....but still I got that DMV call...like I said Im more confused than anything about this too...

i would call a lawyer or use google to find something about it. dont want to get in trouble over something you had no control over. i would think as long as you have the paperwork showing you sold it to a dealership you should be fine

they sold my buddies lightning, he said all he wanted was 18k. they had it on the lot for 2 weeks and he got a call that it was in the process of being sold. my buddy got his money 2 days later.

I had this happen with dmv and dealerships in the past.. if you have your paper work that states it was a trade in you are no longer responsible. You go to dmv and show them the paperwork. The dealer that bought your car from you is the "last" owner of the car not you.

From doing some research..this dealer has done some shady things in the past to other customers..but I'll just go to the DMV and see what they say.
