yes, i know traffic laws apply when you are on a bicycle. that's one reason why i hate bicyclist. yes, i'm willing to share the road with them, but they gotta understand the rules and help with drivers as well. if i'm going on a 4 way stop intersection, i'm not thinking about a bicycle flying through a stop sign. and remember, it's easier for a bicyclist to see a car than for a driver in a car to see a bicyclist.

bike tickets are so dumb! especially in small cities. i might get flamed, but oh well theyre still dumb. me and my friends used to street ride and we got chassed out of places, but never even tickets for grinding or riding like complete jack asses...i guess in bigger cities like sf they should be more strict with bike laws because it has more people that bike and drive and bike and drive like idiots...but damn...id be pissed if i got a ticket on a bike, but w/e..... only in davis :/ flame on...

yeah, anytime i ride BMX or Mtn Bike, i always fly past cars and weve between traffic, its so much fun. Not like real traffic, more like downtown slow saturday night traffic.

but yes i agree if bikers get hit, it should be their fault, unless it was clearly the mistake of an idiot driver.

i never get mad at drivers who almost hit me, i can stop going 20 mph within 15 feet and u have to think that youre invisable, because youpretty much are

i cant stand road bikers that go on the mtn roads...its like, thanks for setting me up for vehicular manslaughter as they round uphill blind corners at 5 mph as im going 35 while the over grown bushes are hitting my side mirror.

especially the ones that bother to take a drink of water and they cant even stay on the white line...it really isnt that hard.

did you know most people that ride bicycles in cities are retards and don't know that traffic laws apply to everyone?

Does your roomy know what "jay walking" is? you should ask them.

haha, I'm pretty sure darkonion keeps female company, ask him for the pics from HIN haha

anyhow, I was on the motorcycle in the mountains, and was actually stopped by cops who wanted to know if the bicyclists were behaving themselves. Apparently the bicyclists throw stuff at cars/pedestrians, and generally act like douchebags. And while it is rough riding a bicycle or motorcycle, not being readily visible to cars, douchebaggery is not the answer.

About this topic. What I can't stand the most, is when bikers ride going the wrong direction on the street or the sidewalk. You look left to make a left turn and bamm! They are yelling at you from the right side of your car for cutting them off! I've gotten in a few confrontations such as this and the next time that it happens they are going to have to pull the seat stem from their rear end!

I take it you've never tried to take a drink, peddle up hill around a turn at a low speed before... Yes, it is difficult.

i ride downhill singletrack while taking a drink. thats besides the point...

if there are cars behind you, dont reach for your water bottle! ive seen them take it out, drink and put it back all while creating a car train! im like....dude focus on keeping your bars straight and staying to the side.

even when they arent drinking, they cant even stay close to the side

then if they are in a pack of 5 or more, theres always some guy that thinks its ok to ride double wide, so you downshift and rev past them in order to pass before a blind curve comes up, you look back just because and they wave at you like a smart *** or flip you off.

they go downhill at 25 mph, they think they arent holding anyone up.
