Okay, several suggestions so far, Malibu Grand Prix down 101 (Redwood City?), Speed Ring in Santa Clara and Lemans Karting in Fremont.
Malibu Grand Prix, I would prefer to avoid as they are a bit more expensive, and have an outdoor track.
Based on pricing, Speed Ring ( http://www.speedring-kartracing.com/launch/index2.html ) gives us a bit more bang for the buck (20% discount if you bring 3 friends, more time on the track ($25 per 12 minute practice lap session, all gear provided), and is indoors. 2 sessions at $25 for 24 minutes will come to $50, but this does not include the 20% for 3 people, etc. They also offer an 8 minute practice session at $15, so 3 sessions at $15 for 24 minutes comes to $45.
Lemans Karting ( http://www.lemanskarting.com/ ) is also indoors and gives the best pricing, if you go early. Practice laps are 9 minutes long, and pricing varies based on time of day ($18 after 5PM, from the $16 price beforehand for Monday to Friday, no info if this applies to weekends). 3 sessions at $16 for 27 minutes will come out to $48, at $18 will come out $54.
Barring any other suggestions, I need a headcount and a vote to decide which location.

Okay, based on some feedback from people who've been there, we're hitting Speed Ring.
Since I have been called into work Saturday morning for some testing (such is the life of a senior systems administrator ), I may just have to meet you guys at Speed Ring, instead of convoying with everyone from DCKK. Hopefully testing won't run past 1130AM. The plan is to meet at DCKK by noon, and be at Speed Ring by 1PM. If DCKK is out of your way, feel free to meet us at Speed Ring (like I said, I may have to do this myself ). Since I still don't have a firm headcount, we'll have to do a walk up and drive thing. We'll probably have to wait a bit, but I don't anticipate waiting TOO long to get on the track. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
Once again, the url is http://www.speedring-kartracing.com/launch/index2.html. PM or email me by 10AM on Saturday if you have any questions. This is an OPEN event, so bring any friends who want to hang with us. See you there!

Based on the "I can't make its," knowing that in the past Speed Ring isn't really a place where you 'walk in,' and there not really being any firm 'yes, i'm goings.'
I say that we just reschedule for another day, it doesn't really look like this is gonna happen this weekend.

Okay, karting is on for this weekend. I haven't gotten a final count yet, so it's show up at DCKK at noon tomorrow and we'll drive down to Speed Ring, or meet us there by 1PM. I know auto-x is this Sunday, but we have other events planned for DCKK and this can't be rescheduled any more. Sorry.
I'll have maps/directions available for everyone, or you can check the links in the previous post yourself.

Okay, we're doing pho at Westlake. For those who can, meet at the DCKK at 7:00. We'll be heading down to the pho restaurant at Westlake at 7:30, so if you can't meet us at DCKK, meet us at the restaurant. The restaurant is next to the Burlington Coat Factory and across the street from Safeway.
directions:
From 280N, take the Junipero Serra Blvd exit, left on John Daly, left on Park Plaza, right on Southgate. The restaurant will be on the left side, plenty of parking in the lot on the right.
From 280 North, take the John Daly Blvd exit, right on John Daly, left on Park Plaza, right on Southgate.
