Nice. I personally prefer the look of a 1911 without the Hogue wrap-arounds, but I understand the function over form argument. Do the "loaded" versions normally come with the flat MSH? My "mil-spec" came with the arched one with the stupid ILS internals. Not that it matters, since the price of .45 ammo is forcing me to shoot mostly .22 anyways. Even my G34 is getting too pricey to shoot. Any recommendations for cheap ammo? I used to go to Walmart for 2 things only - ammo and 5qt. containers of Mobil1. Now it seems like both things have gone up in price so it hardly justifies my going there.

I use those grips because they are identical to the ones Hitman uses, as seen below. You can see the stock grips in the picture above. It isnt a hogue wrap around, its part of the grip/wood. Also, it makes the gun sooooo much more comfortable its not even funny
