He car was legally registered in the state of Arizona from what I was told. That's where his family hails from and he kept it registered there to be able to legally modify it. I believe, dont quote me but I think that was the deal.

Agreed. Two totally different issues and they should be kept that way. A little harsh on the kid comment.

Ha! Nice Matty!

It is really sad to see this happen, I had considered Mike a friend but that didn't stop him from lying to me about all of this and blowing me off when I asked questions. It is always sad to see a member publically burn bridges like this, but obviously other factors in his life have enabled him to post this without care. He seemed like a good guy, but I guess that just means I didn't know him very well if this was what was going on. It is bittersweet to see him go; he was a good guy, at least from what I knew of him, but if this was the way his business dealings went, especially with shops that I know and trust implicitly, then he is better off removing himself from the situation entirely. I think his post backfired, instead of working for him, it dug the whole in which we are now burying him in. Oh well, such is life.
This is just a reminder to everyone else who takes their car to any shop to be worked on, to be HONEST about the condition of your vehicle and understand that if it isn't 100% to begin with, there will be issues after.

I'm not bothering to read the nazioc thread, and stopping after a couple pages here, but this part sums it up for me.

Well, in this case maybe. But, if someone has dual residency and wishes to keep a car in both states, they may have a CA DL and a car registered in both AZ and CA.

That AZ car, in theory, shouldn't be in any state other than AZ for more than 30 days.

Did he ever post all the logs? Or did he run out of white out? IDK. I don't know this person, but it was a pretty entertaining read. I do agree with the custody battle comment going a little too far. It's unfortunate what he said about all the shops that had dealings with him, but it doesn't change my perspective on them.

i dont get it. if you white it out, your car doesn't automatically get faster. wouldn't he be upset with the fact that he's fronting 400whp but only driving 320whp. why wouldn't one just tune up to 400whp in the first place, especially with all those nice mods, which were all paid for in full, according to his car show thread.
