are damaged stock parts worth keeping?
I have a stock bumper, that has visible cracks in one corner, is it worth keeping for resale way down the road? or would it worth less than an aftermarket with normal wear and tear. it is now taking up 1/4 of my kitchen space...

if you're racing and need spare parts then keep it. otherwise, dump/sell/experiment it and save yourself the room. The only thing is, that you'll probably end up needing it the moment you throw it away.

I've got a similar problem, I replaced my interior door panel and have a scuffed one in the garage. You might just need it one day, but if it's in your kitchen space dump it immediately.

There is probably no point in suffereing with it in your kitchen in case you might need it someday. If you keep it for long you will undoubtedly need it the day after you finally get fed up tripping over it and get rid of it. So sell it or give it away now.
Bumpers are not cheap and get broken alot. If it's only scuffed or the paint is just cracked take a picture and offer it for sale for BO now. Start with the BAIC classified here (its free). Its probably worth $50. Someone may want it. Ebay might be a better bet but shipping it will be a hassle. If you can't find a buyer, someone may take it as a freebee and you will at least have the satisfaction of doing a good deed.
Fex. the new part unpainted for a 2002 lists for $137 on www.subaru parts.com

If its really broken then just trash it (eg the plastic is ripped and/or the mounts are broken off) No one will want the hassle.
