Daily Driver Recommendations

Selling my 09 WRX in favor of something that is cheap that will net me great gas mileage for driving to and from work. Looking for suggestions on what that should be...

i avg about 35mpg on the highway and about 26 in city with the frs. 13 gallon tank with premium only.

I love my 00 legacy wagon..underpowered with the 2.5 n/a but with the 5spd and my old wrx wheels/tires its pretty fun to drive

If gas milage is your #1 concern just get a hybrid or a honda fit or similar

Good points... Budget is variable, but the hope is as cheap as possible that will last at least a couple years, and yes best mpg possible.

I'd like to keep it around 5k, definitely not more than 10k, and open to bike, car, biplane, haha, etc.

Doesn't need to be a cool car either, I still have my STI...

E36 BMW 318is. Good looks, great MPG and reliable and can usually find them around 5k in good condition.

I would seriously get an old civic and call it a day. the best part is 1) no one is gonna challenge you on the road 2) you wont have to worry about dings and what not
