CV boots and warranty

Anyone know if the factory 5/60 powertrain or the subaru gold extended warranty covers torn CV boots ?

yes they will cover it if you still fall in the warranty time frame

Its your front passenger side inner boot isnt it

Also tell them to fix your rear control arm bushings as well!

its a guarantee on all subarus...nothing spooky about it, I just work on them all the time

all those style rear control arm busings will be torn, you will need to kick and scream for them to cover it BUT they will if you know what you are talking about

if they have more than a 15mm tear they are covered under warranty (maybe it was 20-30mm tear, I forget, either way THEY ARE TORN for sure). But having them replace them will only save you for another 15-20k miles. We use whiteline kits, which are polyurethane and wont ever tear again.

Hope this helps

not sure what you are asking but yes they have a rear control arm bushing issue

and yes the 05+ legacy's and newer gen models all have these same bushings and will result in same issue.
