The reason is that they have bends that are 90-180 degree bends and that they weld it on to a straight bend and its cuz mainly all the work it takes to cut,measure, weld to make it fit right, i don't mind cuz i know the guys personaly.

If you want to minimize costs you can buy the materials your self and then have someone fab it up for you. You probably need 1 U-bend and about 3' of straight tubing.

dang it, I still havnt got this done, lol.

I have the mid pipe, basically I just need to finish the axel back now

Thinking about getting a flange and a U-45 bend from ebay and having them cut/weld it to complete it
