i thought those were put out or contained that's why we got few days of clear sky...

Damnit. This weather sucks. Not only is it hella hot, the air isn't clean. Blahhh.
I woke up this morning from the heat. 6AM it was atleast 80 degrees and I was just BURNIN' UP!!! I hate sleeping in the heat! AHH

I think this last batch of fires all came from lightning. This is from the paper talking about the Big Sur and Gap Fire:

More than 300 blazes are still burning statewide, down from a peak of 1,781 since the current fire siege began with lightning-ignited fires on June 20.
I think it cleared out for a few days because the winds changed and brought the fog back. Then mother nature decided to help blow all the smoke to the east into the central valley. Sucks for them. They get all the smog from the bay area, plus the smoke, plus whatever dirt and junk gets put into the air from all the farming. Triple loss. [nelson voice] ha-ha [/nelson voice]
