I was about to call BS, but using my google-fu I see Vinnie Van Go Go is a place in GA. A place where CCW permits are actually issued.

We can argue the 'could haves' all day long, but that will get us nowhere except further from the facts of what did happen.

What would have happened if he handed over his jacket and gotten stabbed anyway?

Look at it as a funny story and move on. Yeah, mugging the mugger is lame. So was using his phone and money. If that really happened. I find it to be funny and would make a pretty good short film. End of my thoughts on the matter.

If he's such a bad *** he should have put his *** on the ground and waited for the cops to come... but wait he probably doesn't have a concealed permit.

The mugger should friggin file a police report against the guy as he just admitted guilt to carrying a concealed weapon and committing and armed robbery with it.

Good for you for standing up for yourself but still.......

Douche.
Assuming its actually real. Thats ridiculous. Maybe he would have had a concealed weapons permit, if our state wasn't run by ****'s. The guy decided to take time out of his day, and stop this other guys activities by trying to rob him. He's definitely in the right, and theres no reason to talk **** on the guy. Shoulda shot that piece of trash in the head.

Probably would have had an easier time getting off as self defense if he had shot him... barring that he lives in a state that concealed permits are common and he has one. I didn't realize it was out of state. Laws are carried out differently out of the bend me over state of california.

But the fact that he took the guys wallet. Spent his money. Used his CC. Used his phone. That makes it a crime and I don't care what state you're in he'd get charged with armed robbery.

It's like the guy that stole a car in salinas then got car jacked and called the cops. He's in trouble for stealing the car and so is the guy that stole the car from him.

Just like if someone robs your house and you shoot them in your house in defense you're o.k. but if you chase them onto the lawn and shoot them you get murder.

so yeah... the guy is a douche for being dumb enough to post that ****.

In the back or in the face. Doesn't matter. If it looks at all like you went above and beyond to shoot them you're screwed. (in california anyways) I based my early posts on it being in CA as I didn't notice it was out of state.

My Comm teacher in college... his brother is doing a 20-life term for shooting someone in the face with a shotgun in his own home. He found out they were coming for him so he waited. When the dude showed up. Boom.

He got 1st degree because he was lying in wait.

I don't agree with the original victim spending money, using his phone etc. But I really think it was smart of him to take the phone because he is right...The guy can just call people and make the situation worst. It's pretty funny he called the guys mom, but I wouldn't have done it from his phone, I would of just got the number. I don't feel bad for the mugger because he shouldn't be doing it in the first place. The guy with the gun isn't the one going around trying to mug people....Maybe the mugger has learned a lesson and will never do it again. I don't think it is wrong to have a gun and I think you should have the right to protect yourself. The situation could have been a lot worse if the mugger had a gun.

Yeah and I guess the photos are pretty grimm. There's a lady that was at his last parole meeting that said as long as she was on the board he'd never see freedom.

When you're an biker with a criminal record they throw the book at you.

If the same thing happened to a banker or something he probably would have gotten off or possibly gotten like 2nd degree or even just manslaughter. Its one of the unfortunate downfalls to our judicial system. Your past and your appearance really does play into what happens in a court room.
