Car Info: I got a couple :)
Good news.
Now tell them to bring back the rear drive corolla's and stick a turbo on it as well. I will buy one for sure.
If they do this, it will be record sales everywhere in the world.

yeah, that's good news.....keep out GM from subaru. look what ford have done to mazda or GM to suzuki and isuzu compare with toyota to daihatsu.
no more "borrowing" technology. do your own research..!!!

Interesting side note....talked to my roommate this morning who is very interested in EVs (Electric Vehicles) and mentioned that Toyota was buying GM's stake in Subaru.
He said that FHI has some Lithium Ion battery technology that Toyota (and others) want, while Toyota is far ahead of everyone (including FHI) on hybrid drivelines.
Might be a purchase to get access to the FHI battery technology? Probably also bodes well for some Subaru hybrids (with AWD ) in the not-so-distant future.

This just brings the companies a little closer.

Cool, didn't know they had already signed that agreement.
Sorry to see GM bailing on Subaru though, as I feel it probably is another nail in GM's coffin....which is a frustrating thing to see (see my username ).

it's not GM bail ing on Subaru....GM is going broke and needed to sell something.
I am glad GM got it's hands out of FHI. Toyota and Subaru should be a very good partnership. Japanese and Japanese
