Saw quite a few CHP southbound on the 101 in Novato area on the way up to Santa Rosa early in the evening. Then tonight on the way back 4 CHP all lined up on the southbound lane on 280 in Daly City.

Do us all a favor, sell your car and take the bus/bart. You fail at comprehending how to drive and take responsibility for your actions.
I think hes manning up to the 70-75mph, just not what the cop actually cited him for.

Stop being such a LEO apologist, they aren't always right.

whaos

get real Mr Overbear, and take your holier than thou attitude and put a ballot measure against trial by declarations together then.

I certainly wouldn't be thankful towards the cop for pointing out my illegal activities, albeit pettyass infractions, and would certainly feel great animosity towards 'em if they had a prickish attitude.

You fail at comprehending how to reason and should buy a prius to drive at a speed no greater than 65 mph in the leftmost lane, unless this is a big joke? lulz speeding

Oh it has nothing to do with being a "LEO apologist" whatever that is.

It has to do with being a man and owning up to your own mistakes. If I get pulled over and hit for things that are violations, you are not going to see me come on here and whine about how it wasn't fair.

The Op needs to just pull the panties off, and accept he got caught. Deal with the ticket as he feels he must, and be done with it.

Now...OP, given the fact you are more than likely not a older driver like myself, and that right now is a high enforcement month. I would suggest not fighting it, just go to court, pay the fine, take the diversion class to keep the speeding ticket off your record, and chalk it up lessons learned. Were you a older driver (over 30) or the CHP were not in step up patrol mode, I would say fight it.

And Knock...war is always an acceptable answer especial to get rid of tree hugging, liberal, socialist loving, dirt kissing, granola eating, prius driving, hippies.

There is a big difference going 10 over and going 25 over.

Whatever side you take, citing someone going much faster than they are is wrong... plain and simple.

Why, if the OP is telling the truth, should he bend over and just take it? Chances are he'll lose in court, since justice doesn't exist in traffic court, but its at least worth a shot, right? Even more so if he was going 70-75 and not the 90 the cop cited him for.

I'm with you on not whining and manning up for your stuff, but why man up to something you didn't do?

Not much CHP action on 80/24/680 last night, only 1 or 2 units. Kept my speed to under 70 'just in case' , plus I was low on gas coming home. Hadn't driven the Subie in like a week, I was a little nervous! haha.

The reason why our country is so great is because there is an idea of free market capitalism and money making profits. If government owns stuff, it becomes less likely that someone would want to make $$ if the government is just going to take it all from them.

CHP more tickets for revenue, I wouldn't be surprised.

Learn to read, please. The ONLY reason i posted is because the cop added 15mph to the max speed i was going if he wrote me down for what i was going i would of never posted and payed the fine so on. This is why i said i was going the speed i was since I'm not going to try to weasel out of it since i was going 70-75 and i admit that! I also believe that speed was pretty safe considering it was 6:45 in the morning on a 3 lane divided highway with very very few cars out. This is also the first time I've ever been pulled over for speeding and I have never had a moving violation in the 5+ years I've been driving, yes i know not that long but for a teenager/early twenties year old person not to bad. With the tint i did not put it on and I have been stopped before for exhaust, even though I'm stock and, they have never said a thing. I'm sorry I'm not going remove 50 tint from a car once i buy it from a dealer when I have never been harassed about it. I'm going to now but it wouldn't make sense to spend the money right then. Most of all I'm not saying i did not deserve a ticket I'm saying i did not deserve a ticket for going 90 which is pretty obvious if you would read my posts.

Also, if you're joking my bad but it doesn't seem like you are the joking type.

At this point, its his word against the officers, and at his age, im sorry to say they are going to side with the LEO. Why spend the day in court, loose out on a days pay, and have to deal with all the headache when you already know what the outcome will be.

Is it fair, no, but its just how it is.

Why not go back to the dealer, and make them pay for removing the tint, or at least attempt to.

I would think worst come to worst, you have a small claims case against them for the fix it ticket and removal fees.

Fixed.

With that mentality, nothing will ever change. Just depends on how you see the glass I guess.
