I don't get this kind of thread. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad you didn't get a ticket. But if you did get a ticket for speeding, front tints, modified emission/exhaust, or something else - does that make a cop bad for doing his/her job?

To tell the truth, after spending some time in Asia, mostly Korea, and looking at how so many break traffic laws or vehicle laws, I'm actually glad we have CHP and cops enforcing the laws here in states. For example, over there, it is not uncommon to have difficult time breathing whenever a car pass you by due to uncontrolled emissions. Also, it's uncommon to find yourself walking by a few inches from moving cars because cars rarely stop for pedestrian unless they really have to. It was almost like cars first and pedistrian lost.

Anyway, I'm glad you didn't get in a trouble.

I'm not a cop. I just like to express a little bit of appreciation to cops over here in states.
Talking about cops here, I can't believe 200 Oakland officers will be cut. I work over there......sorry for a bit off track reply.

I've had a few good experiences with SJPD. It really seems like it depends on the cop or what kind of mood there in. I got pulled over once because i had a bulb out. the cop then proceeded to ask me what kind of tires i was running and how much they cost and what exhaust i was running. He's probably on i-club.
