I'm always skeptical with these kinds of posts. The story is almost 'too good'. Good read nonetheless

same here.thing is the cop reporting would have submitted a report and the cop working would have been responsible for the ticket and report and tow.mainly because the kid inthe Z could say the 335i driver baited him.you would want a 3rd party person(on duty officer)to be the neutral and be able to verify the accounts.it could be as simple as the kid did infact say **** the police and that set off the officer to call his buddy.
but every dept is different.other than that good read.

im in pretty much the same boat.i do tend to drive fast,i have raced people and i have gotten well deserved tickets.leo in general are still people in the end and are subject to laws, more so than most.hell, most the guys i work with give me **** because ive accepted getting tickets when theres no doubt a simple badge flash would keep me out of one.
the kid in the Z def pushed his buttons and thats what caused the tickets/tow.not how he was driving but how he was acting

one time, a guy in a jetta was doing this too me, i ignored him.

He exited the freeway on a downhill 270' cloverleaf with too much speed and understeered into the dirt/iceplant...it was hillarious. I "meep meep'd" as i passed by.

My first rain with the subie I was following a green Integra exiting onto 880/17 from 101S and he noticed me coming up on him. The integra started to speed up seeing me coming up on him and right as it straighten out to 880, his rear end came out. Pitched right then left, then spun into the center of the freeway, bang, 02~04 biege camry.

I slowed down right when I saw him loop out to watch the resulting accident, then boned out. Felt really bad, not that he crashed, but looping out when the turn had already straighten out, that sucks, and subies rule!

stuff like this is one the reasons why I unloaded the STI - I got sick of people trying to get me to race them

Weird, no one ever tries to race me. I get more looks from CHP than anything else, but the quickly realize they can S a D when they see the plates on the car.
