man the 80's was when actions movies were really action movies.

 

I remember Contra, that was like one of the first games my dad got for my and my brother when we were like 5 or 6. That game rocked!

 

Who the hell needed 100 lives to complete it? The game was killer but once you play it for a while every shot comes from the same place. I played it recently on one of those all in one classic game controller things, I can still finish it with one life. Long live Contra!!!!

i remember i got contra for christmas one year and knew it beforehand, so i'd open it up and play it before christmas but put it back under the tree every night. yes, i am that evil of a child.

i played it over spring break.. and that game is one of the best of all time right next to tecmo football..you could throw a pass for joe montana to jerry rice for like 100+yards. Oh the days of nintendo
