concert @ shoreline

I've never been there before, so what are the good seats for a concert?

it depends on who you're going to see. i've only been there for big rock shows, and i've always gotten seats on the grass. just be sure to bring a jacket and a blanket (to sit on) since the breeze comes up at night and it can get chilly.

Yeah, seats suck if you are at big rock shows... cuz you can't mosh and such... but since it's your wife, and it's radiohead (light rock), seats would probably be a good idea. As idivinag said, don't get too close, cuz the stage is really high, and you wont be seeing much.

thanks guys exactly the info I was looking for.

Expose... talk about a flash from the past. can't say that I'm a big enough "fan" to go to their reunion concert.

Dont take blankets. You will end up having to walk back to the car to put it away. A bunch of people started liting them on fire and swining them around.

here's the map for shoreline:

try to get the ones 12- 32 section. that is reserverd stuff though with waitresses.

row A in sec 202, right next to the mixing section is cool too. i had primo seats there once for the GO-GOs reunion concert (boy, i'm digging up names from the past) and it was cool seats.

I know it is. I was one of the people who had to walk all the way back to my car. But at least I got my camcorder in.

the last time i was there, the craziest thing going on was some guy climbing the sound towers and diving off into the mosh pit from about twenty or thirty feet up. then again, that was well before Woodstock 2.0/3.0 introduced the concert gonig public to the idea of concerts as mudflinging contests/riots/post-apocalyptic alcohol fueled impersonations of downtown Mogadishu on a friday night....
